Happy Holidays everyone. The Healthy Wellness Club has been hard at work uncovering the truth about News Years resolutions, and why they so often become nothing more than a yearly fad.
Why do so many people start off the new year with renewed hopes, dreams and aspirations only to give up months, weeks or worse: days later? I can't truthfully say that this is simply a health issue, but a deeper sociological dilemma. Much like the fish who swim in a school, many people are afraid to deviate from an established path carved out by peers.
There isn't necessarily anything wrong with this, but in order for a resolution to be truly effective maybe we should examine the timing of such self-made "promises".
What do you folks think? Is timing all that critical, or is there another underlying reason why New Years Resolutions stay unresolved? Lets have your thoughts either here, or in the Wellness Club Forums.
Stay tuned for this concept to be fully fleshed out and turned upside down, just in time for the holidays! Only at The Healthy Wellness Club.
